Double your mobile bandwidth with two wifi cards

If a device could connect to multiple wifi networks simultaneously this would increase bandwidth or performance.

I'm not a computer engineer nor a developer but I believe this would take mixture of hardware and software engineering. The divice would first have to be outfitted multiple wifi radios then the different networks would have to be mixed together. Or background proceses like updating could be used for one network and realtime user application could be used on the other.

Update: This may be virtualization architecture for LAN (WLAN) cards.
